GENERAL INFORMATION

Before you arrive

What are your standard training hours?
Training times depend on the selected programme, season and group. Your confirmation will include the exact meeting time, session duration and arrival guidance. Individual sessions are arranged directly with the coaching team.
Where does training take place?
Costa AV is based on Spain’s Costa del Sol in Andalucía. The precise pitch or venue varies by programme and availability, so the location and map are supplied with the booking confirmation.
What ages and ability levels do you accept?
Local programmes range from grassroots development to elite coaching. International residential camps are designed primarily for players aged 15–25 who already train with a team or academy. Contact us if you are unsure which pathway fits.
Do you accept girls?
Yes. Costa AV welcomes players based on programme suitability, age, experience and goals. Share the player’s details when enquiring so we can recommend the best option.
Which languages are spoken?
Coaching and communication are available in English and Spanish, with French support also available within the team.
TRAINING & ORGANISATION

How sessions work

How are groups organised?
Groups are arranged around age, current level, physical readiness and the needs of the programme. The goal is to create a safe environment that challenges every player appropriately.
Can siblings and friends train together?
We will accommodate this where ages, levels and group objectives make it appropriate. Please mention the request before booking so the coaching team can advise clearly.
How intense is the training?
Intensity is adapted to the age, fitness, experience and goals of the players. Sessions combine technical quality, decision-making, physical preparation and enjoyment rather than using one identical approach for everyone.
Does a player need academy experience?
Not for every programme. Costa AV offers pathways from grassroots to elite football. Residential and showcase opportunities are more suitable for experienced, ambitious players, while local coaching can be adapted to a wider range of levels.
Is goalkeeper training available?
Goalkeeper-specific development can be discussed when you enquire. Availability depends on the programme, dates and coaching plan.
EQUIPMENT & SAFETY

Preparing properly

What should a player bring?
Bring suitable football clothing and footwear, a clearly labelled water bottle, sun protection and any personal medication or medical information requested during registration. Programme-specific requirements are sent before the first session.
What is the attendance and behaviour policy?
Players are expected to arrive on time, listen to coaches, respect teammates and facilities, and contribute positively. Parents or guardians should notify the team as early as possible if a player cannot attend.
What happens if a player is injured?
Training stops and the player is assessed appropriately. A parent, guardian or emergency contact will be informed when necessary, and emergency services will be used for serious incidents. Relevant medical information must be provided before participation.
Are mobile phones allowed?
Phones should not interrupt coaching or group activities. Any programme-specific rules on storage and use are explained at the start of the session or camp.
COACHES & BOOKING

Confidence from enquiry to session

How experienced are the coaches?
The team combines professional playing experience, qualified coaching, modern active-player insight, physical preparation expertise and multilingual support. Coaching is practical, individual and appropriate to each programme.
How do I book?
Complete the Book a Session form with the player’s age, level, goals and preferred programme. Costa AV will confirm suitability, availability, location, price and the next steps before the booking is finalised.
How does payment work?
Payment instructions and deadlines are provided in writing after availability is confirmed. International residential camps are paid by bank transfer to the Costa AV Futbol Camp SL business account.
What is the cancellation or refund policy?
Cancellation conditions vary by programme. Review the current Terms and Conditions before payment. Residential camps require a 50% non-refundable deposit two weeks before the start date.
